Founded in 1947, R.Harilal & Co. (Calcutta) is a traditionally owned company manufacturing, exporting and importing Jute since seven decades now. Founded by late Mr. Harilal Shah, His Principles and ethical policies is something, the company strives to live by.
Starting off as Merchant Exporters and domestic suppliers, we made a strong foothold in the Domestic market as well as the Middle Eastern and European Market. Carried on by Mr. Sanjay Shah, The company really lifted off in its domestic presence, as Sanjay really started catering to almost all sectors requiring bulk packaging, be it the Sugar or the Agri Products or Dairy products, we started catering to all of them.
After the Third Generation stepped in i.e. Mr. Rishit Shah And Mr. Jineet Shah,they managed to widen the portfolio of products being dealt by the company,getting into Imports from Bangladesh as well as setting up a sister concern in Bangladesh to widening the Global Market and making its presence felt in the American, Canadian, African, Middle Eastern Continents making itself a Star Export House recognised by the Government of India.

In the recent 15 years we have really distinguished ourselves in the Jute Sector, dealing in a variety of Jute Products ranging from Traditional Sacks for Bulk packaging to Jute Geotextiles and Jute Woven and Non Woven Felts.
